Synopsis
Premiered in Venice and nominated for the Oscars by his country, this film has been described as "A bizarre hybrid between Twin Peaks and Pasolini's Theorem". Zhenia is an Ukrainian masseur with a hypnotic gaze and healing hands who enters a wealthy Warsaw housing estate, becoming a mixture of guru and object of desire for its inhabitants. Wealthy and unhappy people, recognizable caricatures under the gaze of Szumowska. A solvent social satire not exempt from humanism and a certain poetic surrealism.
