WHAT IS FICG?

The Guadalajara Film Festival is a cultural event of great relevance for the city and the country as one of the forums for the appreciation, promotion and distribution of Mexican and Latin American cinema.

FICG is a festival for everyone, we work for people to enjoy it through different activities, but above all watching cinema as industry, entertainment and art.

FICG is the strongest festival in Latin America with an offer for the film industry that has allowed it to position itself in the national and internationally. It is a forum for training, instruction and creative exchange between professionals, critics of international cinematography and students of Latin America.

WHAT KIND OF FILMS ARE SCREENED DURING THE FICG?

All kinds, all the genres, it is a diverse sample of the world and Mexican cinematography.

WHERE CAN I CHECK THE PARALLEL ACTIVITIES OF THE FICG?

The complete list of parallel activities carried out during the Festival can be found on the website www.ficg.mx, which is constantly updated. Parallel activities may undergo last-minute changes (such as time, place and date), we recommend checking a day before to corroborate the activity you wish to attend.

WHAT ARE THE CHARITY SCREENINGS?

The charity screenings are projections of feature films at the Diana Theater presented by the Director and/or actors of the film. The total amount collected at the box office is donated to different civil organizations. Check the program at www.ficg.mx

WHAT ARE THE DATES TO PARTICIPATE IN THE FICG CALLS?

HOW CAN I GET ACCREDITATION? HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

Accreditations are only for professionals in the film industry. Without accreditation, you can attend the projections by paying the tickets at the box office or some free activities. To attend the Festival with accreditation, it is necessary to define what type of accreditation you need, there are two categories: PRESS: if you belong to a media and you intend to cover the Festival, find out here.
