Synopsis

Daniel, a 20-years-old, who experiences a spiritual transformation while living in a Juvenile Detention Center. He wants to be a priest, but this is impossible due to his criminal record. When he is sent to work at a carpentry shop in a small town, he poses as a priest and accidentally takes over the local parish. The arrival of the young and charismatic preacher is an opportunity for the local community to begin the healing process after a tragedy that occurred in that small town.

Director

Polish film director, screenwriter, and producer best known for directing Suicide Room (2011), Warsaw 44 (2014), and Corpus Christi (2019), which was nominated for the Best International Feature Film at the 92nd Academy Awards. His previous works premiered and won awards at Tribeca Film Festival, Berlin Film Festival, Cannes, and Venice.
