Synopsis

A man and a woman meet in the ruins of post-war Poland. Wiktor’s attention is immediately captured by Zula, an ambitious and captivating young woman. With vastly different backgrounds and temperaments, they are fatally mismatched and yet drawn to each other.

Director

Polish filmmaker who has received awards all over the world, first for his documentaries and later for his fictions Last Resort and My Summer Of Love. In 2011 he made La femme du Vème, four years later, Ida, that won the Oscar for best foreign film. His latest title, Zimna wojna (Cold War), won the Best Director Award at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival and several Oscar nominations.
