Synopsis

Maúca is a rezandera and traditional midwife from Buenaventura, Colombia. Mother of the twins Wilmar and "El Mellizo".11 years ago Wilmar was disappeared and his twin brother gives certainty of his death to Maúca. Between screams he told him that he felt on his own skin the brutal way in which his brother was being murdered. A short time later, "El Mellizo", who left Buenaventura to forget the sensation of his brother's death, was murdered by the police. The night before his murder, he appeared in a dream to his mother.Maúca brings lives to the world while she waits in an eternal duel to find the remains of her missing son.
