Adolfo

Fiction | Mexico, United States | 2023 | 70 min | Spanish

Synopsis

Adolfo is the ugly cactus Hugo holds in his hand as the last bus leaves without him. His father killed himself and the only thing he left is a note that reads: "Find a new home for Adolfo". The next bus doesn’t leave until six AM and Hugo decides to spend the night at the lonely bus stop. Everything changes when he meets Momo, the young woman dressed as an aviator, who is standing across the street. She is also having the worst time of her life: she just got out of rehab and is struggling not to relapse on her first night out. To avoid loneliness, Hugo and Momo decide to find a new home for Adolfo, the ugliest cactus in the world.
