Synopsis

In 1955, students and parents from across the country gather for a school contest dedicated to observing astronomical phenomena (Junior Stargazer Convention) that takes place in a fictional town in the American desert called Asteroid City. The convention is spectacularly disrupted by world-changing events.

Director

One of the most prominent Hollywood film directors today. Since The Royal Tenenbaums, no film has been released that has not been attractive to critics and to major film events. With his own style of narration, he has achieved a balance between comedy and drama with films like the Grand Budapest Hotel or Life Aquatic. Asteroid City is his latest feature film.
