Synopsis
By day, Vicky is a fisherman; at night, she owns a bar. Through her we get to know a trans community that is part of a fishing village on the coast of Ecuador. Over time, do we learn to accept the other or, instead, do differences cloud our ability to see?
Director
His directorial and screenwriting debut was Silencio Nuclear, screened at the 59th Venice Film Festival; followed by Vida del Ahorcado, at the 67th Locarno Film Festival. Sin Otoño, Sin Primavera, his first feature film, was screened in Sao Paulo, Cartagena, Warsaw, Mar del Plata, Goa, The Havana, AFI Washington and Miami. He directed La Bisabuela Tiene Alzheimer, winner of a DOCTV award.
