Guadalajara Pride 2020

This year’s motto seeks to call on Mexican society to accept the differences that make us unique and special beings. It is important to understand that in each family there can be at least one member of the LGBTQ+ community and that we should not segregate anyone, nor encourage discrimination within the family nucleus because that is where the foundations of a healthy and inclusive society arise.

This motto places love as the fundamental center of the family and in the face of aberrant practices, better known as conversation therapies or ECOSIG; it reminds us that there is nothing to cure and that we are also your family. Take care of it, protect it.

The image shows a big family in an embrace, accepting one of its members without caring about age, gender, race, identity or sexuality, in this case represented as an androgynous character so that it can be identified with anyone’s masculinity or femininity, and showing love and support. All of this in order to empower the hashtag and lift up the motto.
