Synopsis
During the dystopian chaos of protests against police abuse, Marcos, a former graffiti artist who became a security guard to support his family, decides to take time off work to see his old friends, longing for his younger days. Meanwhile, his brother Samuel, a college student who is part of the protests, ignores Marcos's warnings about the danger and goes out to fight. After realizing that he has changed and that what matters to him now is taking care of his family, Marcos returns home only to find some agents subduing Samuel. Marcos must take care of his brother one last time.
Director
He was born in the Mezquitán neighborhood, in the city of Guadalajara, in 2001, son of a couple of punk musicians. At the age of 16, he produced his first documentary medium-length film in super8. At 18 he entered the Departamento de Imagen y Sonido (DIS) to study. At 20 he produced his first short film, He, Behind the Gun. He currently makes documentaries in the city of Guadalajara.
