Synopsis
Sunna Valdis, a girl who lives with her family in Iceland, suffers from Alternating Hemiplegia of Childhood (AHC), a very strange disease. This documentary reveals the difficulties she faces on a daily basis, presenting in turn testimonies from doctors, researchers and family members. Scientists point out that a cure for the disease would be possible, but does not currently exist due to high research and development costs, as well as the disinterest of pharmaceutical companies in such a low-profit drug, required only by a few thousand people worldwide.
