Synopsis
A young woman lies dying far from home. A boy sits beside her. She is not his mother. He is not her child. Director born in Lima on November 15, 1976. Her second film, The Milk of Sorrow, a Spanish-Peruvian co-production, won the Golden Bear at the Berlin International Film Festival in 2009 and was nominated for an Oscar for Best International Feature and a Goya for Best Ibero-American Film in 2010. It is the most awarded Peruvian co-production in history.
