Synopsis

This movie is about the trip of Benvenuto Chavajay, conceptual artist and indigenous maya, through the preparation of his most recent performance. It's a portrait built of observation and accompaniment in his every day life and dangerous occasions. The odyssey starts in Paris, in the Center of Contemporary Art in Pompidou, getting close to the street of Guatemala City, to the heart of TzꞋutujiles lands of San Pedro La Laguna. The genius and demons of Benvenuto gather around to translate ancestral silences.
