Synopsis

The Romería de la Virgen de Zapopan is one of the most important and representative religious and cultural traditions in Jalisco. It is a pilgrimage that, due to its magnitude and relevance, was declared Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO. Religiously, it is held every October 12th and manages to bring together more than two million people.

Director

Theater and film actress, dancer, singer, screenwriter, radio producer, and mexican activist. She graduated as a performer and teacher of Classical, Regional and Contemporary Dance in Mexico City. In 1977 she traveled to Los Angeles to continue studying at the Lee Strasberg Film & Theater Institute. Since 1968, she has appeared in more than 75 feature films and television productions.
