Nest
Documentary | Chile | 2021 | 62 min | No Dialogue

Synopsis

The real estate industry has destabilized the natural surroundings of the city of Concón, on the Chilean coast, forcing the inhabitants and landscapes of the region to find new ways to adapt and survive. Nest depicts the cohabitating of species and the accelerated transformation of the landscapes due to human occupation.

Director

Josefina and Felipe, both young Chilean filmmakers, met in the Film career of the Universidad del Desarrollo, where they began to produce the documentary project, Nest (2018), in conjunction with Colectivo Tucuquere. This, their first feature film, is a wake-up call to the human being regarding real estate projects that break into hundreds of animal and plant species.
