Synopsis
Amidst the mountains somewhere in Mexico during the colonial times, a Spanish Priest who has fallen victim to a strange illness is taken by his native disciple to the hut of an old indigenous shaman. The Curandera will try to cure the Friar performing an ancient ritual which will have unexpected effects in the mind and body of the evangelizer.
Director
His author work focuses on genre animation for adults, with a political twist. The short films El Empleo (2008) and PADRE (2013), of which he is co-author, were selected in more than 500 Festivals and received more than 200 international awards. Flesh of God is his first solo directed film, and is the first project of his newly released production company called Ojo Raro.
