Synopsis

Paty, an indigenous woman from the Wixarika people, begins a trip that keeps her absent for long periods, by representing her community in the Indigenous Government Council (CIG in spanish); meanwhile her husband, Rubén, takes care of their daughters at home. During the trip, Paty disputes herself about her journey and, through confronting her past, finds a reason to transform her pain into a new and better way of life for the women of her community.

Director

Film director and photographer, graduated from the Image and Sound Department of the University of Guadalajara. In 2015 he made his first short film, El idioma del barro. He has taken part in special workshops such as Talents Guadalajara (FICG), Talent Lab (RIDM) and Ji.hlava Academy.
